WHeaton College Basketball

The Challenge

Wheaton College's Women's Basketball Team asked me to design a series of apparel designs for a number of events they would eventually hold, including the Beth Baker Classic, Play4Kay Cancer Awareness, and a team-themed shirt for the 2014-2015 basketball team. As the tournament was newly named, the challenge was to come up with new concepts each new year for the tournament and other supplemental requests from Wheaton College's basketball team.

Our Approach

It was an honor to design shirts for the Wheaton College Women's Basketball Team as I grew up with my own mother as the team's coach for over 25 years. Upon her retirement, a tournament was named in her honor, and I was asked to design a series of shirts for the team. Having grown up with this team since I was a young child, these apparel designs were a joy to work on. The result of this effort is 5 apparel designs spanning 3 years of tournaments and individual game initiatives.

Apparel Design

The Beth Baker Classic Basketball Tournament was renamed after being a part of the Lee Pfund Classic before Coach Baker retired as the Women's Head Basketball Coach at Wheaton College. These shirts consist of tournament shirts for 2012-2015, and two separately themed shirts, for a cancer awareness tournament and a team-theme shirt for 2015.
